Jaid River (a.k.a Jeanlie Minnie) is a singer songwriter from George. In 2016 she made her debut performance at the Karoo Stilfees sharing the stage with artists such as Joshua Na Die Reën, Jaco van der Merwe and Lizandra Winter.

In 2017 she moved to Pretoria to pursue a career in music. She played in Lizandra Winter's band and interned at Little Big Studios for 6 months and gained some valuable experience in the music industry.
